Presented with the challenge of coming up with an idea for a presentation to a restaurant group showing the potential customer reach through advertising in our magazines, I came up with the idea to make color coded map of Manhattan and star their restaurant locations. I then created color correlated blocks to represent hotels (white blocks for residential circulations) Each block was labeled the hotel name number of rooms. (Our travel magazines are distributed at hotels)
When our publisher and the sales manager went to present, it went over smashingly - so much so that the restaurant group representative kept the blocks and map to present to her superiors.
I really had fun working 3 dimensionally and (of course) with bright bold colors.

I managed custom publishing and direct mail projects for UPS and RCI. We developed products within brand guidelines while modernizing their look to better engage their clients and partners.
